Client Support Representative
Houston, Texas
     
The client support representative assists the project manager by providing initial analytical support, enabling the project manager to direct their efforts toward client service and account follow-up. Duties may include initial account research, mail and clerical duties and data entry.
     
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of one year previous work experience as an office support representative is desired. Candidates must have a full understanding of office processes and well-developed interpersonal skills. Teamwork, dependability, apparent motivation and ethics are an integral part of all positions with PFS Group. A working knowledge of FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA and a good track record is a must.
     
Qualified Candidates Should Possess:    
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or a minimum of six months customer service or medical-related experience
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend insurance and patient correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to customer, clients and other employees
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Basic computer and computer software skills
  • Ability to apply good judgment in dealing with problem solving and carrying out directives
  • 1-2 years relevant medical customer service experience (preferred)
  • Excellent written, oral and listening communication skills
  • On-site liaison - working directly with the client at the facility
  • Ability to uphold highest level of confidentiality
  • Ability to motivate others
  • Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities include:

  • Placing outgoing and receive incoming calls to facilitate collection and resolution of patient accounts
  • Resolve issues, set payment expectations, arrange payments, and request information from patients
